Sprangles

This new years we decided to hang out at the bottom of the DNA Tower in Kings Park (mental note: write a Wikipedia entry about the tower). Dunc brought some delicious lamb roasts from Herdsman Fresh that we BBQed on the camp stove after some late afternoon cricket, and then we headed up the tower at midnight to watch the different fireworks displays around Perth.

Unfortunately I didn’t get too many good photos, I’d had a bit too much to drink and got a bit confused operating the camera. I’m feeling quite inspired from Jay’s efforts at lighting up the whole tower, I think we might have to go back one night and do it again properly.

All in all it was a great night, though it did end a little suddenly when the Park reticulation came on and drenched us. That certainly scared the bejeesus out of all of us, but it made sure we packed up really quickly!
