Wood Rack
I guess this isn’t technically a “garden renovation”, but close enough. A quick and simple project this one — a wood rack for the shed. This project was born out of necessity, now that we’ve started renovating everything else in earnest we’ve suddenly got a lot of wood and other long things (cornice, reticulation piping, etc) to store, and they were cluttering up the house and shed.
I knocked up this wood rack one evening with some cheap second-grade structural pine from the local salvage yard. For stability and strength I incorporated an old set of shelves the previous owners had left in the shed. An advantage of this project was that I was able to mount the shelves up high where they’re much more useful and easier to access.
I must say though that having a wood rack in my shed makes me feel like an old man!
