Rollerblading

Today I’m grateful that Mabel stuck with it at roller skating, and eventually had a great time and came home babbling with happiness. She drives me crazy with negative self-talk, but I have the same trait as does my mother, so I can appreciate her struggle to get past it.

Bugalugs

Today I’m grateful to have known Bugalugs for nearly 20 years. He kept me sane while writing my undergraduate thesis, and moved with me all over Australia. He was one of the main reasons Alexandria started walking (to chase him for cuddles) and he snuggled with all of the kids. We used to cry from laughing so hard watching him do back flips trying to catch crumpled up newspaper. I am so very sad to see him go, but it was time. Farewell, fluffy orange friend. 💙
